LW355 2-Phase Fish Meal Processing Wastewater Decanter Centrifuge Separator

The LW355 2-phase decanter centrifuge is purpose-built for the fish meal and seafood processing industry, providing efficient solid-liquid separation for stickwater, press liquor, and processing wastewater. Constructed with duplex stainless steel 2205, it offers exceptional corrosion resistance against the aggressive saline and organic acid environment typical of fish processing plants.

Working Principle

Separation takes place in a horizontal cylindrical bowl equipped with a screw conveyor. Fish processing wastewater enters the bowl through a stationary inlet tube and is smoothly accelerated by an inlet distributor. The centrifugal force generated by high-speed rotation causes sedimentation of suspended solids on the bowl wall. The screw conveyor rotates at a slightly different speed than the bowl, continuously pushing the separated solids toward the conical end for discharge, while the clarified liquid overflows through adjustable weir plates at the opposite end.
